A Ma Maniere is one of the latest brands to partner up with Jordan Brand; and so far, all releases didn’t disappoint. The debut collab featuring the Air Jordan 3, then the Air Jordan 1 just months later gave the Parisian-inspired fashion boutique a lot of attention. For 2022, AMM welcomes the year with this Air Jordan 2 “A Ma Maniere”; looking to continue the premium design cue similar to the first two releases.
The Whitaker Group founder James Whitner and the rest of his design team revive the infrequently-releasing Air Jordan 2. It seems like a good year for MJ’s rather forgotten model as upcoming releases with the likes of Union LA and Maison Chateau Rogue are set for 2022. Not to mention the rumored return of the OG Chicago colorway later on in the year.
Similar to the Air Jordan 1, the J2 AMM features a cracked leather upper in an Ivory accent. Dark Burgundy pigments return on the heel panel to go along with the special A Ma Maniere hangtag.
The interior lining of the shoe boasts a luxurious quilted pattern. More fancy details such as the snakeskin texture on the midsole can also be located.
