Step into Springfield with this Nike Dunk Low “Homer Simpson” (GS)
Following the preview of the Nike SB Dunk Low “Bart Simpson” we get Homer’s version next. Although this is only in GS sizing, we can expect an announcement regarding men’s sizes soon. 2022 looks to be an exciting year not only for the Nike Dunk but for other sneakers as well.
The overall design of the shoe pays homage to Homer Simpson. White leather represents his polo shirt, while the Light Blue details resemble his pants. Yellow on the Swoosh and Nike branding shows the popular Simpsons signature detail.
There is a Next Nature label on the insole of the shoe. Next Nature refers to Nike’s Move to Zero initiative where the sneaker contains about 25% recycled content by weight for a journey towards zero carbon emission in a couple of years.
