The Air Jordan 11 “72-10” Gets a Low-cut Treatment
First introduced in 2015 on the Air Jordan 11 as a new colorway, the 72-10 now lands on the Low. Sticking true to the usual design found on the 2015 version; the Air Jordan 11 Low “72-10” makes use of a simple color blocking highlighted by Red detailing on the shoe.
The 72-10 colorway was inspired by Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls’ historic 72-10 win-loss record during the 1995-96 NBA Regular Season. This record remained unbeaten until the Golden State Warriors set a 73-9 milestone in 2016. The difference is that the Chicago Bulls won the NBA Championship in the same year; while the Warriors ended up losing to the Cleveland Cavaliers after blowing a 3-1 Finals lead. To this day, many basketball experts hail the ‘95-’96 Bulls as the greatest NBA team ever.
Either way, let’s get to the details. The shoe features a Black pebbled leather base and a suede heel panel. The patent leather mudguard has this shiny effect where it looks to blend with the leather upper.
Red colors appear on the Jump man logos on the mid tongue and the heel.
A white midsole and a Sail White outsole keep the original look just like the 2015 version.
