The Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 CMPCT “Slate Red” lands in 2022
The latest Yeezy Boost model is here. And it rocks a huge change in appearance especially on the Prime knit upper construction. This Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 CMPCT “Slate Red” follows that monochromatic “Red October” tone popularized by the Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Red October” back when Ye was with the Swoosh.
While it’s an intriguing new addition to the Adidas Yeezy roster, let’s check out the details of this shoe.
First things first, the shoe uses the same sole tooling as the Yeezy Boost 350 V2. There is that ribbed midsole cage housing a thick full-length Boost foam midsole inside. The traction pattern is the same as well.
The Prime knit upper has the most noticeable change. It features a one-piece sock-like construction with various weaves along the midfoot and forefoot.
A new lacing setup comes in the form of a band connecting the two laces together. Instead of tying them up, you can just pull and adjust the fit as you go.
This shoe may not be as iconic as the Red October Nike Yeezys, but give it some time and people will start to take note of this shoe!
